Nobody who works on this site is a CPA or an enrolled agent, and no page here carries a byline claiming otherwise. What it can offer instead is the evidence: every figure traces to a government publication, and this page is the whole list — 424 sources behind 22 bodies of law.
311 of them are also monitored. For those, a verbatim sentence from the source is stored alongside the figure, and a scheduled job re-fetches the page and checks that the sentence is still there. When an agency rewrites a rate table, the check fails and names the source. That is the difference between citing a page once and knowing it still says what it said.
What the other 113 are
Still real citations, read on a stated date by a person, and no less binding on the figure. They are simply not watched yet, which means a change to them would be caught at the next manual review rather than within days. Transcribing a quote is slow work and it is done in batches, so this number moves down rather than jumping.
Some of them cannot be watched at all, and saying so is more useful than quietly leaving them out of the count. A source published only as a scanned PDF, or one behind a host that refuses automated requests, or a fiscal note whose figure sits in a table cell rather than a sentence — none of those can be matched verbatim, and a check that cannot fail is not a check.
Coverage by body of law
One ratio across everything would hide which parts are unprotected, and they are not interchangeable. A source cited by two of these appears in both rows, so the column sums to more than 424.
The full list
Each corpus has its own page listing every source behind it. MarkedMonitored there where a stored quote is re-checked against the live page. Every link goes to the agency, not to a summary of it.
Split out on 2026-09-06: rendered inline, this page reached 25.0 KiB gzipped against a 24 KiB ceiling, and the answer to that is a smaller page rather than a larger budget.
